Raif is a Saudi blogger who was sentenced to 1000 lashings that were to be carried over the course of 19 weeks. In addition, he has received a 10 year prison sentence. His "crime" was exercising his right to freedom of expression and assembly. Amnesty is focusing on Raif Badawi's case, and it is crucial that we encourage student groups to take action on it.
